The Polytapis: Another Innovation from Polyplast

A NEW SOLUTION TO PREVENT WEAR
Some of our creations are so useful that we can’t help but say, “Why didn’t we think of this before?” This latest solution is certainly one of those!
Drum roll, please! You heard it here first: Polyplast is proud to present the Polytapis !
This innovation is a protective pad made of polyurethane that lets you protect your concrete floors against damage caused by tracked equipment. We know that cracked or damaged concrete becomes more porous and dangerous over time. They wear down faster, too, because the damage lets water and other substances seep in.
POLYTAPIS, THE PERFECT SOLUTION
This incredibly versatile piece is available in 8 sq. ft. sections that can be fit together or separated to create exactly the right length. Because this product is made of individual sections that weigh 16 kg each, it’s lighter and easier to handle than the conveyor belts that are typically used to protect the floor. What’s more, you just need to stack the pieces on a trolley for easy transportation and storage.
The Polytapis also helps keep your people safe, since its textured surface is non-slip even when it’s wet or covered in snow.

WHY POLYURETHANE?
Polyurethane doesn’t really need to prove itself, but it’s always good to reflect on just how useful it is.
First of all, polyurethane is much more durable than thermoplastics or rubbers. It’s also more rigid than rubber, allowing the pieces to stay attached to each other. Finally, the Polytapis keeps its shape and resists marking by impacts.
